Physical Therapy is a healthcare specialty that focuses on improving and restoring mobility, function, and quality of life through various treatments and exercises.
Physical Therapy should not cause pain. The goal is to alleviate pain and improve mobility through gentle exercises and treatments tailored to your needs.
It's best to wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothing to Physical Therapy sessions. This allows for easy movement and access to the areas being treated.
The duration of a Physical Therapy session can vary depending on your treatment plan and needs. Typically, sessions last between 45 minutes to an hour.
Yes, at Go Physical Therapy we understand the importance of building a comfortable and trusting relationship with your Physical Therapist. You are more than welcome to request a specific Physical Therapist when scheduling your appointment. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible care, and we believe that having a therapist you are comfortable with can significantly enhance your treatment experience and outcomes. Simply mention the therapist's name when you contact us to book your session, and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on their availability. Please be aware that while we strive to meet all requests, scheduling constraints may sometimes necessitate alternative arrangements. We appreciate your understanding and are committed to providing you with exceptional care.
We strive to maintain consistency in your therapy sessions by scheduling you with the same therapist. We do have a Physical Therapist Assistant that treats patients in our clinic which allows our Physical Therapist the ability to serve additional new patients. However, should you only feel comfortable seeing your evaluating Physical Therapist please let the receptionist know so that you can be scheduled accordingly. Please be advised that in some cases, this may require extended time between visits.
In most cases, a physician's referral or prescription is not required for Physical Therapy. However, some insurance plans may require one. We suggest that you check with your insurance provider or contact us for more information on the requirements.
Yes, we welcome patients without insurance at Go Physical Therapy. We offer affordable self-pay options and payment plans to ensure access to quality care for all individuals, regardless of insurance coverage.
The cost of Physical Therapy can vary based on factors such as the type of treatment, duration of sessions, and insurance coverage. For specific pricing information and to discuss payment options, please contact our billing department or visit our clinic for a consultation.
Co-payments for Physical Therapy services are due at the time of service. If you have a co-insurance, we will bill your insurance first and you will receive a bill once the insurance has processed the claims. If you have a large deductible that has not yet been met, we ask for payment towards your balance each week. We offer various payment options, including credit card, PayPal, Venmo, cash, and check to make the payment process convenient for our patients.
At Go Physical Therapy, we understand that dealing with legal and medical concerns simultaneously can be overwhelming. Generally, attorneys do not directly pay for Physical Therapy services. Instead, they may help you arrange for the costs to be covered by the eventual settlement or verdict in your personal injury case. This process is often referred to as a "medical lien" or "letter of protection." Your attorney can negotiate with healthcare providers, including Physical Therapists, to delay payment until your case is resolved. It's important to discuss these options with both your attorney and your healthcare provider to understand the implications and ensure you receive the care you need without financial strain.
